But most people won't call me anything other than Macek. I'm a Czech representative in mountain running, skyrunning and ultratrail. I grew up in Ostrava, but my heart is in the Beskydy Mountains. I have always loved movement and nature, but never did athletics in my youth. I was enchanted by running in the mountains and exploring my own limits. I try to make every training session an experience and fun, a daily piece of adventure, the results of which I then show at competitions.
